This service is available where the proprietor of a South African (ZA) patent application has filed corresponding applications in countries which conduct substantive examination, for example in the United States, Europe, Japan, Canada, Australia, or China. The service entails:

1. regularly checking the records of the Patent Offices in those countries to monitor the status of the corresponding applications,
2. when the corresponding applications are granted, sending you a reminder/notice thereof with an offer to conform the ZA claims to those of the corresponding granted cases(s).
